Nkuringo Bwindi Lodge

Description

The Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge provides visitors to the Nkuringo sector of the park a wonderful venue from which to access both the Nkuringo and Rushaga gorilla familes. The camp with 270 degree views of rain forest, volcanoes and the rift valley is the night stop venue for those on the Nkuringo Walking Safari.

Two hand crafted self-contained cottages have been built to take advantage of the beautiful views. The adjoining Virunga terrace building provides visitors with 6 twin bedded rooms all with shared toilet and wash room facilities.

There is no provision for self camping. Those wishing to sleep under canvas can reserve the camps own ‘Lazy Camping’ arrangement. A canvas 2,5m x 2,5m tent is provided with full size 6 inch mattresses and bedding.

There is a restaurant at the camp providing wholesome meals for guests.
